The theme of the castle of Red Tower is freedom, people live with rules from the tower and live peacefully as they are just living a normal life without capped and are obedient to the Tripods. However they are still capped. Another moment in the chapter justify that theme is freedom, Comte and Comtesse treat Will, Henry, and Bean Pole generously, even though they are strange and awkward to them, speak different languages and they are escapees. Even Comte and Comtesse asks them to stay with them and offer him a job as a knight. But if this happened in other town ruler would probably treat them like a beast and let them being capped. All people enjoys together during the Queen of the Tournament competetion. Eloise feels so happy about serving the Tripods ,as if they are going somewhere like heaven. According to couple of snapshot from chapter 6, I can tell you that the theme of the castle of red tower is freedom.

Blog Post 3

Six days ago we had a literature circle discussion, with only 3 people because Brandon was on holiday. There were Austin, Seth and Me.While we were discussing about the significant passages, I wondered why Austin and Seth liked so much about the grenade passage, something kind of mystery. Austin had some kind of weird question, also didn't seem on the topic, which is "Do you think that people fought back against the Tripods?". Seth and I grade as 'zero' because it wasn't creative question and only 2 answers, either Yes or No. But Seth and mine wasn't great neither.Seth's one was something interesting, but not creative, and I forgot. I got one something creative but it also had 2 optional answers, yes or no. Luckily I was graded as 2!!!! The whole discussion wasn't interesting because we had out of topics regularly. I don't want this things to happen next time.

Bean Pole = Zhan Pole.

The name of the boy who rescued Will and Henry is called Zhan Pole, or Bean Pole, he appears from page 67. I think he will help the boys very well during the rest of journey. First Zhan Pole is quite smart, as an example he studied English on his own and he reads a lot of books. He also realized the truth of Capping and what the Tripods are, as a result he decided to have a journey with the boys.

Another thing is Zhan Pole is quite stubborn as well. In page 68 he hang tough with his decision, which also means he is proud of his decision.
During the Chapter 5 he insists to go under the large hole and wins the argument with Will. Since he is smart enough to lead the boys, I am sure that he will lead them to the right way to their final destination.

The White Mountains Post#1

I read a book named " The White Mountains" .
Will is the main character of the book, and he will have an adventure for the rest of the story. While I was reading 2 chapters, I realized something, that he has couple of similarities with me!

First he is quite adventurous, which means he has a lot of curiosity just like me. In the book Will attempts to have an adventure for freedom and The White Mountains, tries to run away from The Tripods. I also like to have an adventure to enjoy my freedom and looking for something that I want. He also opened the drawer where The Watch of his father's is. When I found something that makes me curious, I begin to look about it instantly.

Second Will is kind of selfish like me. The narrator (Will) doesn't tell enough about what he had done bad to Henry, so that tells when he tells someone about Henry. He is only telling whats Henry's fault is.
When I am involved in trouble and need to make an excuse, to persuade the others, I tell them what offender had done wrong.

Band Assignment- junior

Part. 1

The International School of Kuala Lumpur provides and exceptional education that challenges each students to develop the attitudes, skills knowledge and understanding to become a (Silence) highly successful spirited socially responsible global citizen.

I feel that adding a silence after the world "a" creates the best tension. when you add a VOID before the concluding part you might have some questions. As an example what is going on?, what might happen after the silence?. It also makes the paragraph interesting, as you add a void just before conclusion, you might start to think about an answer (release).

Part. 2

There are plenty of the strategies that composer can create tension and release in their music. One of them is composers can start the music with low and soft pitch, then put void in the beginning of conclusion, after that create release with a extremely loud tone, to make sure that audience get surprised after the boring beginning.

New year Resolution..

Year 2009 has passed.... And the new year, 2010 is here
To spend another new year with fun and meaningfully, there needs some new year's resolutions. I have made several resolutions for another year.

First, I will absolutely improve on my writing skills, so I can join Humanities without any supports. To practice this, I need to read more books that has good word choices, and keep write example sentences to make sure that I can use the words in a appropriate way.

Second, I would try to improve on my soccer ball control, controlling the speed, etc. Even I would not refuse to do harsh trainings. To conquest my defects, I need to practice on those regularly. Talk about my fault and improvement with my helpers around me.

Lastly I want to get along with students who have various kinds of cultures and skin colors, etc. If I would get along with friends who have different nationalities, i would be able to learn about new culture and share our with them, and also communicate better than before as well.

half way done with grade 6!!!!!

I have made social and academical achievements while half way of the school year went through. For academical achievement, I learned about early humans,their life style, Sumerians, and four empires of Mesopotamia in humanities class, which is one of my favorite classes. There's lot more achievements than above. And one of my social goals is during lunch time or free time, I have made new friends.I played soccer with them as well. From playing soccer, I could cooperate with them.

I learned many skills from various subjects. In humanity support, I've learned new skills; how to write sentence with new structures From P.E. class, we've went through many enjoyable units. The most recent one is I've realized how to use some appropriate skills during basketball games.

I've learned many skills this semester, but I think I still need to learn some other skills. I want to learn how to sprint properly in Track & field unit, which will be next unit after semester break. In humanities class Iwant to learn some other grammar skills that will improve my writing.

With skills that I want to learn, I have a goals that I can work on for rest of my 6th grade year and new year. First during the new year, i would like to do exercises regularly, so I can keep health.
Second for the rest of the grade 6, I would like to improve on my English skills and join the humanities class without Humanity support.
Last, I really want to challenge my self to participate 100m, 200m and relay on ISAKL, then break a school record.
